If you are a pediatrician it's ok to ignore recommendations that put your patients at risk. ACIP guidelines are not legally binding. You all swore on the Hippocratic Oath which states the following:

"I will prevent disease whenever I can, for prevention is preferable to cure."

There are hundreds, nay thousands, of professionals that could serve or present to that ACIP panel and have a real discussion of vaccine safety and efficacy and their clinical use.

There is no reason to have such incompetence other than to push through an antivax agenda.

My dental hygienist is this nice older white lady from the atl suburbs and she spent my teeth cleaning yday telling me about how she went to her first protest over the summer (no kings) and now she's gonna be at a local protest this weekend and how she was trying to come up with good signs and I 😭❤️

This is why I was so annoyed at people complaining that the no kings protests were “useless” or didn’t have a specific agenda. Those protests did exactly what they were supposed to do which was be a gateway for more engagement!
