welp i got rejected for the other position i applied to like a month ago. i knew it wasnt like a super good fit but still discouraging

well the company posted a position that i'd be interested in last night and i messaged him this morning but forgot hes pacific timezone so now i got to wait. not really a complaint i really appreciate all the help i can get but also ANXIETY

chatted with this guy my coworker went to college with yesterday who might be an in at a company im interested in, but there weren't any positions that really fit what i wanted so he said he'd keep an eye out & then let him know before i apply so he can get my application to the top in the system...

i get super tired of this one person just always having to have shitty takes and saying they don't like something when everyone else is hype for it. like at this point it almost feels intentional that they have to dunk on everything. like did you contribute anything to the convo? no? then stfu.

that paired with the fact that i have nothing to do at work and no one contacting me or telling me what to do at work is just really making the jan deadline loom over my head

i know i gotta keep telling myself that it's just a really bad time right now to be applying in any industry but the rejections that are coming in still really upsetting.

all these years i thought my lips were always chapped because they were big..come to find out that it's a skin condition caused by stress and other things and so derm gave me this steroid lotion to put on them and im not used to them feeling so soft and smooth daily wtf this is what normal ppl have?
