Rewatch complete of the best and my personal favorite of the Moore era. Everything we love about Bond is here from gadgets, great villains, ridiculous henchmen, crazy stunts and insane set pieces. The underwater lair is one of the best and the theme song is absolutely perfect.

Patrick Hughes delivers a fun and entertaining sci-fi/action flick that works mainly due to Ritchson who as usual is all in! Fairly standard invasion story and characters are salvaged by tons of violent gory action, back breaking stunts, a cool mech design and solid score!

Rewatch complete of Moore’s sophomore outing has it’s ups and downs. Crazy to see Bond caught up in the kung fu craze. Christopher Lee absolutely shines hamming it up as the big bad and Moore is his usual charming self. More great stunts, fun characters, set pieces and campiness!

Rewatch complete of Roger Moore’s inaugural outing as Bond and while not everything works he immediately makes the role his own with his charm and charisma. Crazy plot, fantastic stunt work, Yaphet Kotto and an all timer theme song highlight the start of this campier era of Bond.

A beautiful fan-made poster for the film.
Rewatched “Surviving The Game” tonight for the first time in more than 20 years. It’s aged extremely well. You can really see how worse action cinema has gotten by going back and watching something like this by a true journeyman director. “Pretty good” for 1994 feels like “minor classic” in 2026.

Dick Grayson took tragedy, turned it into empathy, and then did a triple backflip about it. Happy anniversary to the best sidekick-turned-hero in the DC Universe.

Rewatch complete of Corey Yuen’s classic entry in the girls with guns genre. Action packed filled with violent fights, shootouts, and motorcycle chases with a dash of melodrama! Third act is an absolute barn burner highlighted by a fantastic showdown between Godenzi and Aurelio!

Few openings go as hard as WOLF WARRIOR 2! Action maestro Sam Hargrave making Wu Jing look better than ever and creating without a doubt one of the best underwater fight scenes all capped off with a glorious sniper shot into a RPG blast title card….🤌🏻🤌🏻

Rewatch complete of Sammo Hung’s action/comedy classic. The three brothers chemistry is unequalled. The humor works while the action and stunt work are amazing. The finale is an all timer with JC vs Urquidez as one of the greatest fights captured on film. Absolutely jaw dropping!

Kick or Die | VERN'S REVIEWS on the FILMS of CINEMA
There is a movie that was released by American International Pictures in 1987 that’s still only available on VHS, and the name of the movie is KICK OR DIE. If
Today I have a review of a pretty sleazy only-on-VHS A.I.P. movie called KICK OR DIE (1987). The titular kicking is provided by Kevin Bernhardt, who later co-starred in HELLRAISER III: HELL ON EARTH and wrote TURBULENCE 2: FEAR OF FLYING.

The second in Barry Levinson's Baltimore tetralogy follows two aluminum siding salesmen (Richard Dreyfuss and Danny DeVito) whose rigid worldviews finally fall under a spotlight.
Currently and first time watching:
