Zach Cregger does it again and crafts one of the most nerve wracking and intense films this year. Exceptional editing and eerie score elevate the story. Excellent cast with Austin Abrams stealing every scene. The final 30 minutes are edge of your seat and incredibly satisfying.

Many of us have always stayed cool!! Long live physical media!!!

I’m with you this and Sleepy Hollow are high on my list.

Without a doubt one of the most intense edge of my seat viewings this year. Egerton is excellent but Ana Sophia Heger blew me away delivering an absolutely heartbreaking and layered performance. The pulse pounding score only adds to the intensity. An emotional gut punch!

Same here. It helps that the actors are all in and the ending made me happy…which says a lot for this story.

Danny Boyle gives us a thoughtful legacy sequel that deals with living in and coming to grips with decisions made in the past. Cast is great with Bremner once again proving he’s the heart of this darkly comedic story elevated by Boyle’s visual style and another great soundtrack.

Rewatch complete of Danny Boyle’s nihilistic indie dramedy. An amazing cast with a star making performance for McGregor but it’s Ewen Bremner who manages to be the moral center. Visually interesting, unsettling and darkly comedic all elevated by an amazing soundtrack. A classic.

I’m only halfway through it but the new season of “King of the Hill” is a minor miracle. Zero drop off in story quality. It’s like reuniting with old friends. My biggest gripe is it’s only 10 eps and not 22. It’s a hangout show & always has been. I wish there was more time to enjoy these characters.

This was awesome! Wonderfully disgusting, eerie, and surprisingly funny. Showcases a sincere love of the genre. Great turns by Franco, Brie, and Herriman. Terrific score by Wilczek. So happy to see Yuzna/Screaming Mad George type body horror back between this and The Substance.

And another winner for Apple TV! Excellent writing, genuinely funny, heartfelt performances and some truly unexpected gut punches combined with stand up a cheer moments. Great cast too to bottom. Wilson and Dager are fantastic while Marc Maron nearly steals the show.

Rewatch complete of Yuen Woo-ping’s martial arts classic. A period piece/Robin Hood style story filled with humor and jaw dropping fights. Donnie Yen shines but it’s Angie Tsang who steals the movie with her wushu skills on full display. The final fight is an absolute all timer.

I truly hope so!!

Rewatch complete of this Sammo Hung classic. One of the best traditional kung fu movies ever and a great Yuen Biao performance. Full of intricate wing chun choreography, amazing stunts, excellent camera movement and brilliant editing. A true martial arts masterpiece.

Ghost Killer is the kind of action movie that makes you feel like you've just seen action god. Just fucking phenomenal in every way

Rewatch complete of this Sammo Hung classic. One of the best traditional kung fu movies ever and a great Yuen Biao performance. Full of intricate wing chun choreography, amazing stunts, excellent camera movement and brilliant editing. A true martial arts masterpiece.

The Prodigal Son is without a doubt my favorite traditional kung fu film. Sammo not only giving us amazing Wing Chun action but also goes full slasher in this moment and hooks up Lam Ching-ying with hard hitting choreography. An absolute classic!

Kensuke Sonomura brings us one of the year’s most unique intense action movies yet. Akari Takaishi gives a great performance. Innovative choreography and slick editing create some of the best action of the year. The 3rd act is absolutely mind blowing and left my jaw on the floor.
