I was a domestic abuse victim. I don’t think anyone deserves to be abused. I just don’t get how people who voted for Trump are surprised that he is willing to defund shelters.
I think defunding them is horrible. I also think elections have consequences.
Like everyone I am both good and bad.

It is, but I admit I find it difficult to feel very bad about states like Arkansas when they are shocked to discover they got what they voted for.

I like to tell people who seem surprised they’re still here that the rapture did indeed take place, but they got left behind with the rest of us and should reconsider their life choices.

I agree with you and him that false narratives need to be interrupted.
It will be difficult to convince many on the left to engage in conversations because FOX and the other media organizations did not just “slip in”. People make decisions, and those decisions are having brutal consequences.

Same thing happened here in CA. ICE had a negative effect on small business. Not only did they kidnap employees and terrorize customers but they blocked streets and shut down business in the areas they invaded.

The human cost is worse, but if you only care about the economy, that cost is high, too.
