You'd have to go to some pretty extreme lengths to get Claude to tell you to kill yourself. I saw someone on this site tell someone to kill themselves after a single prompt.

I've seen plenty of bullying from humans on social media. It might have been a flaw in their training data. Either way, somebody neglected to give them sufficient safety guardrails.

So for someone to go on social media and start talking about how AI causes suicide seems a bit bold. Obviously there are some very alarming anecdotal cases, but I wouldn't call it statistical evidence at this point.

I don't want to diminish the very real risks associated with AI, but I believe there is a decent body of evidence suggesting that social media has contributed to the alarming increase in suicide rates over the past 20 years, especially among teens.

Yeah, Wails just brings native menus and dialogs to the table, which is useful for some things, like selecting a folder or opening a file that's large enough you don't want to pass it through a browser.

Have you used Wails? Developer experience is so good. Combine Vite live reloads + Go's ultra fast compile times = portable desktop app in minutes. Plus I find OS cross compilation much more reliable in Go than Rust.
