In my ttrpg campaigns. I chuckle when I add a scarred or maimed character of high wealth. In a world with magical healing.
I have to get creative with finding a reason why they wouldn't pay the money to have a powerful healer fix the inconvenience.
"I don't heal it. As a reminder.." is overdone.
