I loved Relink, so it getting an expansion is good news. Maybe they'll add Vira to the game somewhere down the line.

Me stuck in Occult Crescent: South Horn for the third patch looking out at crafters getting their third zone this expansion.

All that is to say I'm not big on FF16, but No Risk, No Reward is one of the best songs in the series and it still frequently pops into my head nearly half a year after beating the game.

I think I found a life hack in that saying I'm not big on a game gets people less mad than saying I don't like it.

Apparently the AI bros are on another round of "Hatsune Miku is AI, checkmate luddites" so this is just a reminder that the singer behind Miku was paid and still earns royalties, and beyond that, Miku is nothing more than a MIDI soundboard with advanced pitch converter options, it is not genAI.

Granted, I'm not gonna defend Capcom for adding that AI slop k-pop vocalist as an in-game commentator. They're far from perfect too, even if they're not getting torn apart by one of the worst acquisitions ever like SNK.

Terry and Mai being in SF6 feels like we're sheltering them from whatever's been happening with SNK over the past couple years.

Imagine bragging in your trailer that you have the most money of any tournament, while refusing to pay animators to make your trailer.

Not me squatting in an empty small house in FF14 for nearly 3 years now because I won it, but can't decorate.

First class unlocked glamour (Healing top, Aiming legs).

Any single player games I'm going through + any fighting game I feel like grinding at the moment + Sonic CrossWorlds. FF14 is an incredibly easy game to keep up with without playing it much unless you're a hardcore raider.

Dawntrail created a funny disconnect between people who play and don't play Monk. I keep seeing people who don't play it say it's overly complicated after one look at the UI and those who do play it know you just press whatever lights up on your hotbar, just like Viper.

Yeah, it always annoyed me that the PS3 version took out the endings. They're there on PSP and even the new characters (Lili, Dragunov, Armor King) have them, but for some reason they decided to make the PS3 version so online-focused that single player suffered for it.

Felt like kicking off the year with my first attempt at playing with light sources, so enjoy the mediocre censorship.
