Why is Lammikko still in the lineup? Gritsyuk should be on line 2, Mercer should be the C on line 3 with Cotter and Brown and Halonen on the 4th line with Noesen and Glendening. Am I missing something? What was wrong with that lineup that helped win 8 in a row?

Speaking from experience, having been in the building in ‘95 & ‘03, there is no better feeling nor greater atmosphere as a fan than the 3rd period of the cup clinching game when you know it’s in the bag. I wish every hockey fan could experience it.

My hope is that Palat, Haula, and Mercer are all on different teams next year. This is a very important offseason. Take a look at the finals right now - the Devils would get destroyed by these teams. If they really want to contend for a championship, the roster needs a lot of work

Great win tonight. However, I gotta know why Haula was the 3rd star of the game. He had 0 points and was only 43% on faceoffs. Luke Hughes had 2 assists and in my opinion should have been 3rd star. I didn’t watch the first period but I saw the rest. Any thoughts on this? #NJDevils

If we want Miller, we’ll have to give up Nemec or Casey and VAN would have to take Palat back in the deal to fit Miller in under the cap. As underwhelming as Palat has been, he is the exact kind of guy you need on your team if you’re gonna win a Stanley Cup.

I think it’s because they’re playing at odd times and on days with a short schedule. Saturday at 1pm they were the only game on and Sunday at 1pm they again were the only game on. Tonight there’s only four games. I can’t speak to this coming Saturday but I think it’s because it’s vs. Montreal.
