Here are some mushroom pics I took in New Zealand.

Ponder mycelium - this organism exists almost entirely underground where it grows, connected, resilient, and strong - waiting to suddenly burst forth. Even invisible, it is there.

Are we too like the mycelium, huge, powerful, ready to emerge?

The first shot uses the IRchrome filter while the other two use a 720nm filter. The third is channel swapped.

Visiting my mom's cabin this weekend and it's literally snowing here on the second day of summer.

I got stunlocked by a herd of cows showing up on the trail.

A very narrow waterfall drops down the side of a tall mountain into a narrow strip of greenish turquoise body of water at the bottom. The mountain is rocky with green foliage throughout. Dark green pine trees are on either side of the waterfall at the top.
