An almost impossible film to write about - but gave it a go anyway. Not to spoil anything but this looks fucking incredible on 4K.

This poster’s had a prized place in my office for a while now - always felt oddly reassured by Hackman watching over me.

My first LWL byline was about Gene Hackman too, he’s truly an actor I could write endlessly about. Probably my favourite of all time.

The Godfather is the single best looking film I’ve ever seen on 4K, legitimately mind blowing. One From the Heart is a beautiful film, I wrote about it last year and have been dying for a rewatch ever since.
