I still have a lot of pictures from my trip to the Alabama Gulf Coast a while back. Hiked down to the beach early one morning and got to see a ton of Terns flying around picking off little fish that had washed up in the tide overnight.

Some dogs really go after little plastic bags.

Went to a nice quiet spot while in Gulf Shores just in time for a nice sunrise photo which turned out ok even with the sun just behind the clouds.

As the sun was going down, all the little crabs were running around the beach, in and out of their little holes. So I tried my macro setup and a lot of patience, and missed shots to get a few of the little ones.

As the sun was starting to set, quite a few birds were flying around looking for a quick meal including these black skimmers. Was really pushing my camera setup to get some shots in the fading light.

Went out one evening by Mobile bay and took some photos. This Great Blue Heron never moved even with all the activity around.

It’s been a while since I posted but I bought a laptop for editing and it is amazing. So I’m slowly going through and working on my backlog of photos to get used to it. Photos like these whistling ducks I took from a recent trip.

Just another day at work. I come in the office to find a kestrel just hanging out in the boss’s office on a chair.

So there is this girl. I gave her a ring. She said yes.

Then she said “Let’s take a picture with the dog.”

After the Fast CAT event was done today, I sent the drone up to quickly (and safely) catch the nearby storm. Managed to grab a nice one. I never thought my first ever lightning shot would be from a drone.

Another day another agility trial. First time really traveling out of my area to do photography.

we were at my girlfriend’s parent’s house today and her dad had fox news on the entire time. I don’t understand how people can watch it, much less the ONLY thing they watch.
