Weβll Prescribe You A Cat, Syou Ishida, 4/5
whimsical and cute little short story collection, nice wrap-up at the end, would recommend.

the pacing of this book felt really weird? like the stakes of the first 100 pages felt heightened beyond what they needed to be. and then the ending was predictable though there was a fun twist in there
lol enjoy! theyβre kind of chaotically organized at this point, mostly i make a new one every couple months when im sick of what i have been listening to

Literally the same plot as the guest list with different dressing. iβm not mad about it but I was able to guess a lot of it now I know her writing. Still had a good time tho!
You Should Be So Lucky by Cat Sebastian, 3/5
this was fine I guess? sure did feel like they were having the same argument over and over for 200 pages and then just gave in without much resolution.
The Listeners by Maggie Stiefvater, 4/5
I was skeptical of this concept and bc of trc sequel trilogy but actually this book was really lovely, Maggie is back with the subtle magic that made me enjoy her writing so much in the first place.
The Bane Witch by Ava Morgyn, 4/5
advertised as gone girl meets practical magic and it delivers on that. i liked it a lot! dark but compelling and readable
The Verifiers by Jane Pek, 3/5
didnβt love the main character or the mystery of this one. it was overall Fine
amazed and delighted that thereβs a 140k conclave fic in this weekβs rec center. the devil works hard but ao3 writers truly work harder

at first I felt kind of meh about this but wow the twists and the way it all came together at the end! lucy foley can craft a PLOT.
to my neighbors who may or may not have heard me cycle through john coltrane, the challengers soundtrack, and now bruce springsteen on this fine sunday morning, iβm sorry or youβre welcome.

They Canβt Kill Us Until They Kill Us by Hanif Abdurraqib, 5/5
what an incredible way with words. fully adored this.
Long Live Evil by Sarah Rees Brennan, 3/5
I did not enjoy Rae as a character, I have a lot of questions how the world/time of iron book work. this book just didnβt do it for me
oooh i feel this. the main character of the book iβm reading rn sure comes across as your run of the mill YA heroine for a self-proclaimed villain in an adult novel

I think this has been my favorite Gamache so far, loved the premise, enjoyed the twist with the corruption case. the actual murder felt a little predictable tho
