Surprisingly, this home version of Commando performs better than the NES version, which was riddled with glitches all gameplay long. If only this version had the music pack of the NES version, this game would be indisputably superior.

Forget the comically wild part. This game is too unhinged, and therefore it's a horror game!

This game is wild. The characters, story, and profanity are Wild. The music is Wild. The Game Over image is disturbingly Wild. And the Gameplay is comically Wild.

Now this, is a certified classic! I've played it a lot with my friend on an Xbox in Co-op campaign mode and went as far as ancient Mesopotamia, where the loading screen gets stuck mysteriously.

Seriously loved the Thompson more than the Minigun. Serious Sam: Second Encounter on PS2 was fun too!

I gotta say, this game, is WILD. It's like someone suddenly decided to make this Chase H.Q.-esque game after playing a few minutes of Carmaggedon or something. Lol!

This is an interesting game from the greatest of William Hanna and Joseph Barbera! It reminds me so much of Super Off Road with the gameplay. In terms of Hanna-Barbera, their games Wacky Races (NES) and both Tom and Jerry and Tiny Toons (both on SNES) are fun to play!

A classic shooter game that I personally love. The only downside I see in this game are the seizure-inducing flashes. It's still a smashing great game, regardless.

As for Fortunate Son however, it conjures Vietnam almost immediately. Reminds me of some games like Platoon, Nam '75, and some of the iconic Call of Duty Black Ops missions.

It looks fun to raid the Kehlsteinhaus on top of the Obersalzberg Mountain during one of the most daring missions of WW2. Capturing the Eagles Nest IRL became a contesting point among the allies over who gets there first due to its significance...

Ah yes, when you decided to even it out with SMASH T.V. by having a similar game but Ridley Scott is the handling the storymaking. Lol!

After Burner II, a great sequel to the hit classic. Had a blast playing this on the MD Em. Keeps you hooked and on the lookout for those rockets!

It would be more striking if the suited guy was speaking some eloquently worded preludes to violent acts inflicted upon the poor guy.

It was more of how these well-versed people are shoving up violence on us through disguised sentences as new rules, AISI.

To wrap it up, reading the description on the back of the game's box packaging has some nice vibe over how this game appears to be some British cop chasing down robbers in the game.

Seeing the name of Garry Kitchen totally took me by surprise! I managed to play the Atari version of this and it was fun for a few rounds. Maybe I'm just too immersed with many later game styles that have variety in each different stages compared to relatively repetitive ones. Not a bad game tho...

Playing this in this format is what Hideo Kojima wants it to be enjoyed.

Finished both MG and its sequel with some struggle (both on the emulator and the game itself) but boy! It's fun to play it that way!

When we getting a gameplay of Contra on the MSX? That game features more than just 8 stages.

It's mainly a Japan thing, given that it's very popular in Japan, and also this format is the one Hideo Kojima extensively poured his skills on. You can use an emulator to play both MG and MG Solid Snake (the sequel) to get the full Kojima experience.

Grab the translated one for MG2 on a side note.

I say that the NES version is not much considered as close to the original for the fact that it doesn't feature the Metal Gear at all throughout the entire gameplay.
