Is this painting who we now are? The identity grapplings of mystic artist Ben Edge Vikings, miners, refugees, enslavers and good old Albion himself … Ben Edge reveals how his dynamic new understanding of Britain today was triggered by seeing a procession of druids march past a KFC

Love the art of Ben Edge, whose chronicling of the English folk revival and the weirdness of our old customs offers a different vision of Albion to the fake patriots and flag-shaggers

We love Shrewsbury and go to the Folk Festival every August Bank Holiday. It’s a while since we’ve done the museums though. Quite a lot of controversy (and online rumours) about the NT takeover.

Reuters reporting on what we already know - that Reform is accepting crypto donations.

As a former anti-corruption specialist, let me be clear. Crypto should be nowhere near UK politics.

The risks around anonymity, tracing ownership & manipulation of instruments are all good reason to act.

Nigel Farage wants to get rid of the NHS and replace it with US Insurance which would be 4x more expensive and worse in every way.

Except for the Β£600bn a year profit for him and his mates.

I’ve spent many a day there - in the basement on microfilm or the history annexe upstairs and to the left (or it was in those days). Must go back as an alumna as they have a good Quaker archive with some of my ancestors in.
