And more:

"Federal funding for higher education research should be based not on political litmus tests, but on academic, scientific, and intellectual criteria that serve the nation and the world."

Clear, succinct, and a model to follow.

Exercise extreme caution when taking medical advice from an administration that sees facts as playthings to be misinterpreted, ignored, overlooked, or overplayed depending on how doing so serves a preferred narrative.

And that won't bring us closer to discovery or cures.

COVID Revisionism Has Gone Too Far If the center and left succumb to the view that “nothing worked,” no one will remain to defend sensible public-health measures the next time a pandemic comes around.

"COVID Revisionism Has Gone Too Far"

Ya think?

www.theatlantic.com/ideas/archiv...

Fascinating given that "In Covid's Wake" is unable to grapple with (i) the extent of COVID mortality and morbidity; (ii) lives saved due to interventions; (iii) missed opportunities to align health + the economy.
