I legit logged off crying happy tears. I've almost quit streaming so many times in the last year alone. Then at the end we got to take over a ton of people to someone's birthday celebration. They were so sweet it also made me cry 🥹 It was a good night

Last night's stream gave me hope I haven't felt in a long time streaming. Honestly with the whole bully situation, I've been made to feel like I don't belong and that I'm unwanted, so I have stopped going to a lot of streams I used to enjoy. I had so much love and hype last night

I appreciate you 💚 I wish more people would do that in general. Covert bullying thrives in ambiguity and direct communication takes its power away.

Yeah I mean I wish a ban and block stopped folks from trying to paint you a certain way though.

Yeah for sure, I mean anyone that bullies probably already didn’t care about boundaries to begin with.

Yes 100% and I also have little tolerance for boundaries not being respected. I grew up in an environment where I wasn’t allowed boundaries. It upsets me a lot to be treated that way.

Yeah unfortunately I think some folks take the boundaries being set as the green flag to act this way 🫠

There isn’t much I can really do about it. I have documented everything I could and have it saved just in case though.

Yeah that’s true and I definitely do block. Blocking only does so much when someone is committed to being hateful though. Doesn’t seem like a lot of protection exists, especially when the bullying is covert.

I feel pretty confident in handling bullies in chat, but what do you do when the bully is another streamer? Like what can you do? Especially when the majority of it happens in discord or off Twitch?

the timing is just very unfortunate. Plus, there's something to be said about when a parent doesn't care you're in danger, or that they put you in danger. I still can't believe he expects me to just deal with not being able to walk the house freely.

Yeah the timing is pretty awkward, because I won't know how long I can expect to be in the US until Martin and I have spoken with a lawyer and have a solid plan to pursue a visa. I have a friend that wants to get a place with me though if the process is gonna take a while. I'm not without options

Honestly, he should have never kept this cat. She is incredibly tiny for her age. She is 11 and looks like a kitten that is only a few months old. I wouldn't be surprised if she had something neurological going on with her too. Idk why he thinks this is just gonna get better on its own though.

He did take her and get her treated for a UTI, but the cat has been aggressive since he's had her. It's both a mixture of behavior that was never addressed and her being sick on and off. When I moved in last year, she would guard my room and growl and hiss if I tried to get passed her.

Let me know. I can’t roam the house freely and can’t even meet basic needs like having to pee. It is completely miserable. He thinks having her put down is cruel but what other options are there?

Idk what to do. Animal control wouldn’t take her. Shelters won’t take her and he won’t just take her to a vet. Idk why he thinks this will get better. I’m tired of being expected to accommodate the danger rather than being protected. If anyone has any advice or any info I can take to my dad please

I texted, called him and stuck my head out of my room to call for him and he wouldn’t answer me. I was in pain because I tried to ignore having to pee until morning but I couldn’t. I got mad and asked why the cat was still here and said it wasn’t fair to me to not be able to roam the house freely.

He thinks taking her to a vet and having her put down is cruel, so he keeps her in this tiny room all day until I go to sleep at night. Then he lets the cat out and tells me not to come out of my room and my step mom to not leave the couch to avoid another attack. Last night I had to pee.

My dad’s cat violently attacked my step mom and I within less than a month last year. He has said he will get rid of her because we aren’t safe. Because she’s old he cannot find a shelter that will take her (of course he purposely doesn’t disclose her violent history with us).

The way I love this goober who is my partner! He told me he was tempted to get back into Overwatch and I offered to play with him. He said to install and now I'm waiting 84 years for this thing to finish 😆

I say all the time that some people really don't deserve their internet privileges. I really don't understand why folks commit to being nasty.
