A little thing I did at today’s drink and draw meetup.

I rarely start and finish a drawing in just one meeting. I guess I was inspired today (or maybe I talked less).

This morning I woke up at 7:00AM and looked out my windows. It's how I start each day. Instead of a mostly empty street and some squirrels I saw a car, lights on, in the middle of the bus lane right outside my front door. I immediately knew what happened, but I tried to convince myself that maybe someone just broke down. I went outside and found the car with its windows smashed, keys inside, identification inside... Just remnants of another unwarranted abduction. This time a 20 year old. I don't know their history, but I doubt he was "the worst of the worst". I doubt he was a criminal at all. These goons are boxing in cars on our streets, on my street and taking people to meet their quotas. When I tell you it's worse than it seems, I'm not exaggerating. People are disappearing all over the place and we may never know their stories. I've started to lose count of how many I have personally witnessed. I'm not an outwardly emotional person, but I broke down crying when I walked into my house, this person's identification and car keys in my hand. Luckily I was able to get in contact with their family through some mutuals. Bovino leaving was nothing but theater to try and quiet us down. All I want to do is be louder.
