You are obviously clueless on economic matters. Lowering rates does increase spending, which drives up demand, which drives up inflation. Higher interest rates are used to take inflation. Duh....

Lower interest rates raise inflation. They encourage spending which increases demand and raises prices. With Trump's tariffs, the faltering dollar and a possible interest rate reduction, we can see a huge jump in inflation, which is already on the rise.

So let me get this straight. Trump is responsible for the worst jobs report in 5 years, so he fires the head of the Bureau of Labor Statistics, claiming without any shred of evidence that she fudged the numbers. He literally gives thin-skinned pussies a bad name.

The higher interest rates did not stop the Biden economy from creating jobs. This is all about the tariffs. Powell may lower the rates but that runs the risk of amplifying the inflation Trump's tariffs have caused.
