Last night I watched Rick Steves's 2018 PBS documentary on the rise and fall of fascism in Europe. I was struck by the number of 20th century fascist tactics that have have been adopted by the US government since January 2025. Lebensraum, anyone?

Another proud day for America.

My teenage granddaughter tells me she is very proud of me for my participation in protests. I feel I owe it to her.

Federal agents are pulling over off duty cops based on the color of their skin.
