Deep voiced woman is the last of her kind and has a scythe and she's totally "badass".

Also, Hoyo's attempts at like... justifying, or cleaning up the image of the House of the Hearth are pathetic at best and fucking revolting at worst.
I'd argue the House is among the most inhumane and despicable shit the Fatui do and it's held as this positive thing for some reason.

Literally Shadow the Hedgehog tier shit, absolutely despise these kinds of characters.

Had to go back and play the Arlecchino Fontaine quest to prepare for the Nod-Krai stuff, and as much as I joke about ZZZ's writing, Arlecchino is probably the worst written character of any of the Hoyo games I've played.
Just a deeply, deeply uninspired, boring character.

I played a bit of this and it was very fun, very impressive. Just haven't dived back in for a while but I remember it doing some really cool things.

I've never had a game crash SO HARD on PS5 that it had to rebuild the database several times, but Ghost of Yotei did.
The audio suddenly cut out and then the whole console hard crashed. Digital Foundry reported a similar issue during their pre-release gameplay, but I'm on the Day One patch!

Playing Ghost of Yotei and there's a part super early on where Atsu's father shows her the sword for the first time and she does the fucking poggers face

I think my favorite example of this is that Max Payne 1's dynamic difficulty IS broken on modern systems, cuz if you just mash your e key to reload after a death, it doesn't reset so the game gets harder and harder forever basically.

I have no idea if it was a licensing thing or if game publishers / developers weren't willing to pay the fee. Wouldn't be surprised if it was a bit of the latter.
Either way, the Nemesis System was gonna be rare regardless cuz it requires the player to lose, which is tough to justify narratively.
