I went to meet the 'Rockstar 31', the developers who were suddenly fired from their work on GTA 6 for what the studio has described as gross misconduct.
That's not what the workers call it though. They have another couple of words they prefer to use: union busting.

Tower Lab is a physics-based, roguelike tower defense game where the enemies have to be pushed off the level.

Second I wanted to show a understanding of how textures can store additional information.
The Animations were achieved by packing the movement direction and index into a texture. The movement direction is determined by the rigid body simulation's velocity at the current frame.
Trying to showcase two things.
One is a simple application of procedural modeling and texturing. Which were both accomplished inside of Houdini; first time diving into Copernicus and it was a fantastic experience.
Trying to get moving on more portfolio work. So started with something small to start building on.

A pigeon with a few bald / spiky spots where sheโs molted half of her face feathers off over the course of two days. They looked like little bugs when they came off, tiny face feathers are weird.
When she molts real bad she looks so mangy and feral. Youโd never suspect she has a dedicated pillow that takes up 1/3rd of my desk, or gets the heater turned on any time she asks.

Trying out Niagara's Dynamic Mesh interface to generate procedural grass on the GPU๐ง
This is a single mesh with no vertex shader. Quadratic curves are animated and vertices are positioned along them to best face the camera, ribbon-style. Landscape is sampled for Z projection.
Building contraptions by combining towers is a key part of our physics-based tower defense game, so we've added the ability to move towers between waves to encourage experimentation๐งโ๏ธ
