Queen of Swords - For this card, I chose a snow leopard as the queen proudly wearing the most precious crown in the whole ice kingdom, extra fluffy fur for protection against frosty times, and demonstrating strength. A necklace with an icy sword pendant is the other part of the jewelry as a subtle warning. The element air and endless freedom of thought in the snow leopard's mind are symbolized by the two butterflies sitting on the crown. One of the butterflies has a warmer color tone to emphasize the duality of "Your Majesty". The queen is independent, intelligent, and self-sufficient, often seen as cold or distant. Therefore, the paw on the right side of the painting shows claws and is in a defensive position. The other paw looks more relaxed and gracious. This confident, young, impulsive ostrich is very determined and full of energy. I chose this animal because of its speed (they can run over 70 km/h), and I thought the spots on its neck would be a great way to add a more subtle sword symbol. It is very optimistic and looks up with a proud expression. Unfortunately, this selfish knight doesn't care about the consequences. It is bursting through a precious castle, a symbol of peace and stability for centuries. Now we witness how the castle in the background has just been destroyed, burning down, leaving a trace of flying bricks behind. In the front, we can see a village with medieval buildings, paths leading to the center of their lives. The Queen of Coins card shows a down-to-earth rabbit queen wearing jackalope antlers as a crown. This queen has a good work-life balance. She cares for her family, the rabbit kingdom's business affairs, and the overall well-being of everyone. Her tree throne and its roots manifest how well-grounded she is with earth and reality. The flower headdress represents how little she needs; gold or precious metals aren't important to her. The flowers on the throne (cherry blossoms - buds to flowers) and on the ground (dandelions - flowers to seed head) transition from spring to summer. It's night. The background shows the vast lands she reigns over. In front of the throne, her little ones are gathered, and the throne itself is also their home with room for cozy rabbit holes. This peaceful card is about rest, contemplation, and solitude. Therefore I chose a relaxed and meditating secluded bat. Thinking about the next steps, taking a break from the overwhelming outside world. In the background, we can see a church window representing the external surroundings. The eye-shaped glass decoration of the sacred window emphasizes the bat's deep focus on meditation, healing, and self-reflection. A single Katana sword hanging from the ceiling with the help of steel strappings is more prominent. It emphasizes the focus on the bat which placed its webbed feet on it. A 24-hour self-induced challenge (including estimated sleep, time for breakfast, lunch, and dinner) stretched over four days. I started with another chaotic image in Alchemy and always wanted to add a render created in Blender to these fast paintings, but wasn't successful before - until now! As always, it was painted with Krita. This octopus floats through space far away from its home planet, which can be seen in the background, showing city lights at night. It is sitting in its psychedelic spaceship, looking through a window to take a short break from the loading screen on the computer monitor. There isn't enough space for its beloved technical gadgets (controller, joystick, motherboard, galaxy bubble tea, and discs. Tentacle extensions outside the spaceship make sure everything is within reach and can't float away. Maybe there is also not enough space on the planet or the discs anymore. Still, this octopus is in its element and favorite place, blasting music from the alien spaceship into space, enjoying some me time while happy to meet anybody along this journey.

Since numbats are an endangered species (currently ~1000 remaining thanks to reintroducing them into the wild) I thought of a spiritual sacred background. Materials from their natural habitat should appear, like a tree and its branches. So it happened in the form of circle weaving patterns. To underline the rarity of numbats, I wanted to indicate that this species is slowly vanishing and keeping its slight gold and silver colors for nobility. The numbat is walking elegantly over tree bark—the fur color transitions from warm to coldercolors. Noble Numbat is enjoying the noble time it has been given on this small but precious planet.
