In addition to this, I am also looking at how clock genes in the cerebellum contribute to diurnal activity disruptions in SCA6 and how Purkinje cell clock genes might be playing a greater, non-circadian role in the cerebellum β°

this is also an appropriate time to describe my research: I am currently a PhD3 student at McGill studying how Purkinje cells in different topographical regions of the cerebellar vermis promote disease and/or resilience in SCA6. Lots of slice ephys and (hopefully) nice conofocal images to follow!

dedicating my first post to this FIRE (i swear I am funnier than this) Purkinje cell from a 13-month old mouse!
