We’re not playing West Ham or an undercooked Everton every week, sadly. Good teams will pick us off.

I thought we’d struggle, definitely. But there was a glimmer of early-season hope we could put a cushion between us and a couple of teams. But that’s rapidly evaporating.

Ten games in and we know where we are now: the relegation dogfight our mediocre recruitment all but guaranteed. We need 9 wins, probably 10 and it’s hard to see us adding many to the 3 we have before the turn of the year. A sobering weekend. #lufc

This has been a dispiritingly weak performance... and it points to a long, fruitless winter (season?) without considerable improvements at both ends of the pitch. Worrying how poor Ampadu, Bogle and Gudmondsson have been. #lufc

As expected, really. We’re in the game, fashioning openings, winning a duel or two, but not enough final-third finesse… they’re punishing us in transition and could/should have gad one or two more. #lufc
