As I go through my Sailor Moon Rewatch, I'm struck by how a character's coolness is often tied to how good they are at video games. Simpler times.

The surge in violence meted out by ICE absolutely should continue to be condemned, but I think a lot of people didn't realize or care that activists have been facing life-altering injury from cops for generations. "Law enforcement" has always been the violence. It ALL needs to stop.

ICE agents shouldn't wear masks. We need to know who is attacking and committing crimes. Masks undermine accountability, invite abuse, and help place perpetrators above the law.

Trump is building concentration camps that can hold millions. Once he's deported all the undocumented foreingers, who is he going to put into the camps? You better figure that out because you can be damned sure he's not going to let them be empty.

Excitement spread as families saw tables set with turkey, sandwiches, pastries and pies, they said. The children waited expectantly. But when a parent asked when the celebration would begin, Oksana said, staff told them the holiday meal was for employees, not detainees. The children, she said, watched despondently as the feast was packed away.

On Thanksgiving, the immigrant children held at the Dilley detention center gathered in the gym for what they thought was a holiday feast.

The kids salivated over a spread of turkey, sandwiches, pastries and pies, a family told me.

But the food wasn’t for detainees — it was for the staff.
