Every tree has got its bad apples when it comes to comunication. I read from Evan that the comics can't always be fully fixed and approved by SEGA itself, but maybe this comic is because it's a tie-in with the game.

Yeah. They could just show the covers and let our mind be creative about the book. Maybe only give one or 2 pages previews but that's it.

I still think the explosion happened in the past days is fair, but only because it was the last straw for the Rogues fans. We've had too many mixed bag stories and we figured out this would be the same.

Oh boy. I need to re-re-read the IDW CW comic because I think we all jumped to the conclusion too quickly.
I still think the infamous Sonic, Jet and Shadow page was ok to be criticized, but thankfully the full comic seems normal.

In my honest opinion I've never seen Sonic or Shadow being too mouthful when it comes to talking to eachother. They go for short but effective answers, which reflects their type of characters.

Yep. I prefer Babylon Rising over all the IDW stories with the Rogues in it because even if their origin is different from the games, the characters still feel like the Rogues.

In the Metal Virus they were inserted by the end of everything, and I believe they were a last addition as well because almost all the pages with them in it are very rushed.
We have the extra story with Jet's b'day, which was used to push Whisper's character instead. I can keep going with this.

My problem is that IDW has its clear favoritism. They can write nice stories but only with the characters they care about.
The Rogues are not part of that and you can feel that. The first story when the Rogues appear were used to show off the new (at the time) Tangle and Whisper.

That could've happened in the riders saga! At some point it was like they were hinting of some rivalry between Jet and Surge, but it never happened.

Yeah, I think you can't do much with 3 panels. I tried it myself on another canvas and it is impossible. This is why I'm not a fan of one shot stories that use too many characters, not just in Sonic.
