I had to tribute one of my fav comic stories of all time in a way or another. It's a story about toxic love between creation and creator, with a bit of futuristic politics in-between. it's a very mature story for a Disney comic, if I can say so.
As you know Autumn was partially inspired by Cammy White from SF, but her main inspiration is from Lyla Lay!
Autumn's name was taken from my fav PKNA issue "Frammenti d'autunno", which is a story focused on Lyla Lay!
Other than that, Autumn's haircut and behavior are partially taken from Lyla.

Autumn x Wave was a thing. Also Autumn was a completely different character. Thankfully I changed her because she was horny as heck. She used to be a normal mobian, working in a library and 80% high.
Everytime I see another Wave in Sonic Rumble I celebrate.

I bet they cut out different things for lack of time. According to some unused audio files, the characters would comment when you put some upgrades on the vehicle.
(Example: Jet and Storm ask Wave how to use this *machine part*).

I didn't even know they reprinted classic Paperinik stuff in the US. I always heard rumors that Disney of America hated Paperinik and everything related to him. Idk if it's real, but I can see why people believe it.
I think they stopped translating up to issue 7 or 8 IIRC.
Wanna feel more robbed? IDW started to translate and publish PKNA in the US around 2016, but they cancelled it very early.
