I really love the vibe in chapter 2. I don't know how to express it, but it's a very cozy and funny experience.

I only played Deltarune this summer, but I already feel extremely nostalgic for chapter 2.
It's my fav as of now.

I don't get how they can make a pug muzzle to a wolf! They could just give her Knux muzzle and it still works.

They did something good, but they were a last min. addition.
Not saying they needed to be treated like an important part of this, but in the finale we don't even see them cured from the virus. They just appear ok at the celebration.

Yes. SEGA is that type of company that changes shit 1000 times because Sonic "can't do/say this". We did see how it went with Shadow's first IDW spin off: dead after different rewriting.
They are the big part of the problem on why these stories rarely hit at the end. They never want to risk it.

P.S: I'm trying to give this arc a second chance with the italian release. I want to see if there is something I forgot or just didn't fully understand because of my language barrier.

This is what worries me. SEGA may not even develop them more and stay in this "wannabe heroine" limbo for lots of time.

It's hard. I don't think they are bad but sometimes their ideas don't click with me.
And I read that arc when it was releasing, so I remember how boring it was waiting for a new comic to drop. I think a big portion of this saga happened in full COVID at the time.

I get you, I do love long stories as well.

It started interesting because it was a dark story that could lead to many interesting stuff. (with Cream especially) but I'm honest: after a while I just wanted it to be finished.

Also the Rogues threw in last min annoyed me, but this is a me problem.

But at the same time, if it drags too long like the Metal Virus saga then it is a problem as well.

If they do smaller arcs with 4 stories each, then you can see why reprinting them won't be an issue anymore.
Still, I'm not saying this will benefit the reader in the entertainment sense, if you get me. I think this 4 issues to tell a story sucks ass.

Tbf, the paperbacks that include the main story (not the spin off books) are a mess to collect.
Usually they collect 4 stories each and I had to buy one paperback just for a pair of stories (Hell, I even had to buy 2 paperbacks because they had ONE story I was interested in).

That's the point. People who read IDW can't read and we've seen it through older arcs how they cannot understand simple concepts.

Jokes aside, I think that "it's easy to repackage" is the only pro to this, so they can reprint one full arc in one book and call it a day.

I've seen plenty of fans in the years being this aggressive when someone doesn't draw a character as close as the source, even if it's personal stuff or just warm up.
But yeah, I think this person is just another alt account of a IDW hater I see from time to time.

I understand that official material need to be as close as the style guide book or whatever, but slighty changing details and not looking as clean as Uekawa's art won't ruin your rubber hose characters. A fun part of reading comic books is guessing who's the artist behind it.

This weird obsession with Uekawa's style should disappear. It's a great artstyle, iconic if we talk about the early 2000s, but we need different art styles. Copycat/emulating someone else artstyle only to be approved by this miserable community won't let these artist grow at all.
