Yesterday we attended the Topping Out Ceremony for Trinity Heights - one of the newest additions to Manchester’s skyline. Partners Simon Critchley & David Green, & Co-founding Partner Rachel Haugh, represented SimpsonHaugh at this milestone event hosted by Renaker & Starlight Investments.

Co-Founding Partner Ian Simpson joined Nobu Founders Robert De Niro, Nobu Matsuhisa and Meir Teper, Struan McKenzie, Trevor Horwell, and Hiro Tahara from Nobu; Kingsley Thornton from Domis; Simon Ismail from Salboy; and Councillor Bev Craig from Manchester City Council.

It was a pleasure to attend the Nobu, Viadux Phase 2, Ground Breaking Ceremony yesterday in Manchester. The event brought together the visionary leaders and creative minds behind the project.

We are delighted to share that Scape’s Merrion Street was presented with an award last week at the 2025 Leeds Architecture Awards. It was a pleasure to attend the awards ceremony. Congratulations to the Merrion Street project team and to all the other category winners.

🏗️ With just a few weeks to go until completion, Renaker’s Vista River Gardens will soon be welcoming its first residents. It’s been amazing to watch this landmark development - designed by SimpsonHaugh - rise along the banks of the River Irwell in Manchester City Centre.

Earlier today we held our Macmillan Coffee Morning in both our Manchester and London studios to raise funds for Macmillan Cancer Support and the incredible work they do for those affected by cancer. It was wonderful to see our team coming together for a great cause!

Boulton House, newly branded as Joyce by The James, has achieved planning. The scheme envisions the transformation of a 1970s office block into a dynamic mixed-use development, housing 261 flexible-use aparthotel suites, that will blend the warmth of home with the convenience of hotel services.

On Thursday 18 September, Co-founding Partners of SimpsonHaugh Ian Simpson and Rachel Haugh, will be presenting a lecture at the International Anthony Burgess Foundation. Hosted by the Manchester Lit & Phil Society, the lecture will explore the practice’s evolution over the past 38 years.
