Not exactly. Racism goes deeper than this and does not, in the US and other majority white nations, to white people as racism is historically a system of oppression levied against people of color by white people for the benefit of white people.

No one can have the kind of money that can "change a life" while everyone else in their position continues to starve or go without a roof over their head.

Also, Swiftiepresssec also brought in, arbitrarily, Communism. I was not about to have that conversation as it was clear they are conflating Communism, the economic theory, with Authoritarianism, the form of government control. It’s not worth the effort with people like that.

I did not sow division here. I asked and continued on a line of questioning relating to the original post. You jumped in and assumed then proceeded to argue along the lines of said assumption that I was bringing race into a conversation which started with a meme and statement about race.

“Banning any kind of speech is bad” and I agreed to which you responded with a “race card” meme directed toward me and asked if racist jokes should be banned; an answer which did not answer the question I asked of you.

"Do you agree" arguments show flaws in one's logic. Your premise was that better speech fixes bad speech but then brought up how banning racist (and somehow dark) jokes would be somehow bad. Genuinely curious of your line of reasoning here.

1. The original poster brought my race into this, not me.

2. There is nowhere to go in conversation when someone like you says something as stupid as this.

Lastly, you make the claim that the only way to end bad speech is with better speech then get defensive when presented with a question which is supposed to validate your claim by defending the bad speech you originally railed against. You're either a troll or really bad at this advocacy thing.

1. Who said anything about banning dark humor between us? You brought it up without being provoked to do so.

2. Racist jokes should not be banned but those who make them should face consequences from their peers/venues in which they perform.
