There is an online program called Core Grammar for Lawyers. Law schools use it as do practitioners.

(e.g., 9th amend. rights β€œretained”) and that parental rights derive from natural law & are thus protected. That can only take it so far tho. Creating affirmative duty to inform the parent … (?)

I’d suggest using 2 or 3 monitors or getting one of the XL curved ones. You are more likely to be paperless at home and need to be able to view multiple things at once.

Pouring some coffee to start another day of grading. I swear this would take half the time if I could just read and give feedback on their legal writing without also scoring it and determining a grade.

Yes for upper-level classes, but less so for 1L classes like Civ Pro. It is pretty coordinated.

The pace of Civ Pro is so uneven. In the beginning of the semester, we spend a whole class period questioning a single jurisdictional concept, and then the gears switch and we cover multiple federal rules in one 75-minute class period. Teaching pleading amendments tomorrow, and there is a lot there.

Just switched over. Thank you so much to the people who shared their starter packs. It has made the transition much easier.
