Yesterday, I learned that @robowieland.bsky.social passed away. I'm still shocked. I only really got to know and talk with him over the past year. He was one of the kindest souls and was always happy to share his bright light with everyone. My deepest condolences to his family. He will be missed.

We thought about it, but figured trying to fit three different storylines into one book would have been too much. Have to save it for a future project.
We have a FAQ page that shows a list of the games we're using.

Next few work weeks will be switching between three writing projects and handling production delays all while tackling the upcoming holidays. Anyone find the pause button in this timeline yet?
I'd say it depends on what you're looking to market. If you're looking to direct people to the RPG, then the game's handle makes it easier to find and you can still include your company's link in the profile. Also consider if you plan for the game to have its own domain to link to in the future.
As dual-aspect beings, cybermancers can dive into the SIM (Silrayne Intergalactic Matrix) without using a device. Their interlaced personas are often the best defense against malevolent AI horrors such as the Kanasi. #dnd #scifi #ttrpg
I intend to take the best parts of that game and make something cool and fun for PS fans like myself. When it’s done, I hope everyone is willing to have an open mind, give it a shot, and have a blast. That’s about all I can ask and all I can say. (3/3)
and it remains my favorite hobby. I’m also not the giant corporation. I’ve done design work on different games for various companies. I made a 5E game (EG) that stands on its own for which PS played a heavy inspiration. I put a lot of myself into it and I’m very proud of it. (cont 2/3)
So, for the feel of a game inspired by d20 mechanics, I should instead avoid using them? Look, I get it. There are some who have an auto-disdain for anything even remotely related to 5E, which is fine and their preference. I've played a myriad of RPG systems for the better part of 40 yrs, (cont 1/3)
I'm focused on the design atm. EG is core 5E (I guess?) with variant sci-fi mechanics so apologies if I'm unclear on what you mean. How or how much one part or another varies from any 5E mechanic is not the design goal. Before anything, it needs to work, be fun to play, and feel like Phantasy Star.
the entire premise behind classic JRPGs (and especially this one) was born from PC games whose mechanics (stats, hit points, spells, XP, etc) were built off the bones of games like D&D, and I don't see how abandoning those core concepts would help do the game proper justice. (end 3/3)
