Good afternoon everyone. I just finished painting up the measuring tools from Star Wars: Shatterpoint game. I've seen some real works of art on these things but I decided in the end to go with a monochromatic approach. Pretty pleased with the results!

My wife Sandy and I are celebrating the 10th year anniversary of our first date. I got a text from her at 8:16 in the evening saying “I’m here.” 10 years later, I feel very privileged, blessed, and grateful to have Sandy as my wonderful, supportive, and loving partner.

Myrtle The Moose is done! I’m really pleased with the entire experience of my first Felting project. I’m definitely going to be doing more with this. I learned a lot and I’m looking forward to applying it to my next project 😀👍

So, I'm trying another new thing. I have always been fascinated by felting. My positive experience with embroidery has caused me to want to look in to felting so I bought a kit :)
So far I am very happy with the results!

It’s done! I am finished with my second ever embroidery project. I’m really pleased with how it came out, but the French knots took forever! Also, I want to give a special thank you to my lovely wife Sandy for the really nice embroidery kit that she made for me… it’s perfect!

It’s coming along! I’m getting a lot of practice with French Knots and Long & Short stitches 😀

Estimates for today’s protest attendance are in the millions nationwide. Thank you to all who participated. It brings me hope! 😊

Got some flowers done. The three of these represent a combination of Long & Short stitches and French Knots. I’m really pleased with the results 😊👍

Thank you so much! I appreciate your feedback. I'm really focusing on making sure my stitches are precise. The funny thing is, I thought Satin Stitches would be easy but it takes focus to make sure the borders of the element are even! I'm learning more ever time I sit down :)

So I’m off on my second embroidery project. This one is very different and I’ve had the opportunity to learn more stitches.
This time around I’m really focusing on precision and accuracy with my stitching. I’m really pleased with the results so far 😊👍

Well… it’s done 😊. My first embroidery project is finished. I had to learn a new stitch (stem stitch) for the last bit.
Now, on to my next project and new stitches to learn 😊👍🧶

Thank you for sharing this. You make a very good point about the benefit to the one-armed holder. I will take a look at this. It could really come in handy when I'm doing french knots! :)

I absolutely agree.

My wife and I do the same thing! We embroider in the evenings after dinner and listen to podcasts or old radio shows.
