Dryad of the Oak or ‘Girl With Acorn Earring’ It is a version of the Vermeer portrait ‘Girl With Pearl Earring’ but this girl is a Dryad, a tree spirit from Greek Myth. Her hair is Oak leaves. A brown, shiny acorn hangs from her leaf-shaped ear.
