There's a woman at work who organises 'events' for morale. Mostly these are ok & for charity, but she can't "read the room" 😕 today, to combat 'blue Monday' she bought biscuits & cake (none of which were vegan, coeliac or allergy friendly).
I wonder if she even knows why it's called blue Monday?

I grew up in the Cold War, the UK had a war with Argentina when i was 9. I've seen the IRA, war in Iraq, European genocides, apartheid, a string of civil wars caused by imperialism and colonialism, bigotry, CND marches, coups and dictators.
And this feels like the closest to WW3 we've ever been

Considering the possibilities today
- Venezuela is larger than the UK
- The UK has oil and Gas reserves
- Anything is possible when a head of state has dementia and no one is stopping them

Found out my dad's sister died. We are not sad about it. She was an awful person. Stole from people she was supposed to be caring for. Lied to people about their friends to cause fights and stalked her ex-husband while his husband was dying.
We went no contact 10 years ago, she died 2 years ago.

Did I just order a bunch of craft supplies? Yes. Did I need them? No. Do they include long dead, scavenged things that will freak out my family? Of course! 😄
