Clearly excites you. But in reality it was a tall person in a clothing department pointing an accompanied teenage girl towards the bra fitting service. And you need a different kind of help.

06.08.2025 15:20 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0'Harmful misinformation about the M&S โtransโ bra row is spreading โ here are the facts'
www.thepinknews.com/2025/08/06/m...
Yes I have often been asked by male employees if I need any help. Theyโve provided me with tampax, thrush treatment, breast pads when I was feeding and even delivered my babies. Your point is?
06.08.2025 13:20 โ ๐ 2 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0Female here. When I was 14 I would have been mortified being asked by anyone about a bra. Even if my mum wasnโt a raging bigot likely to make everything 100 times more embarrassing.
06.08.2025 13:00 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0A shop assistant (however they identify) approaching a customer to ask if they need any help is far from inappropriate. Itโs their job.
06.08.2025 12:57 โ ๐ 7 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0No idea. It's ridiculous to have apologised.
06.08.2025 11:19 โ ๐ 6 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0If anyone wants to complain to M&S about them throwing this employee under a bus for simply doing her job, the email address is ceo@customer-support.marksandspencer.com
06.08.2025 10:44 โ ๐ 64 ๐ 20 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0She seems to have based that judgement on height. Walk around any school sixth form or university these days and you'll see a lot of young women who are 6ft or taller. But even if the woman was trans, so what? She was only directing them to where they might find a bra fitting service.
06.08.2025 10:01 โ ๐ 11 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0Basically she wants us to boycott M&S because a tall person who may or may not have been trans tried to do their job and direct a customer to the right department?
06.08.2025 08:01 โ ๐ 54 ๐ 1 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0Yes. Seems to be a lot of that around.
05.08.2025 11:09 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0I just blocked. Timeline a bonfire of transphobia.
05.08.2025 10:15 โ ๐ 5 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0You're looking at general population studies, not athlete studies. But having taken a quick look at your timeline I see you're utterly obsessed with trans people, no matter what walk of life they're in. They can't work in shops, can't do sport, can't have treatment. Blocked.
05.08.2025 10:12 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Trans women have lower realtive VO2 max to mass than cis women after 2 years of HRT. Lower lung capacity too (BJSM study, 2024). Lia Thomas is smaller than Katie Ledecky. Of course, she's not won anything like Ledecky has either. She's just a target for people like you who like to talk about penises
05.08.2025 10:07 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 2 ๐ 0You specifically referred to her having a penis for some reason. And yes, HRT does reduce muscle mass. It doesn't alter skeletal shape, but then Lia Thomas and Sharon Davis are the same height and Davis weighs 6kg more. So where's the physical advantage again?
05.08.2025 09:54 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0Yay.
05.08.2025 09:46 โ ๐ 4 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Still unable to answer?
05.08.2025 09:45 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0No seriously. How does an extra appendage make you swim faster?
05.08.2025 09:40 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0In a sane world, this would be considered a crime against humanity. www.bbc.com/news/article...
05.08.2025 09:39 โ ๐ 30 ๐ 6 ๐ฌ 2 ๐ 1How does a penis help you to swim better?

04.08.2025 16:06 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0I'm sure you're not. I was thinking more of those dreadful SLANT schools with silent corridors and very strict uniform policies.
04.08.2025 16:04 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0It certainly is given that the children most likely to be excluded in a tightly controlled education system are those from disadvantaged backgrounds or with SEND and those most likely to receive a more holistic, broad education are those who can pay for it.
04.08.2025 15:51 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0No, I didn't mean to suggest it was. But it seems very much to be the case that in more conservative/right governments, there is more talk of 'rigour' 'standards' 'discipline' etc and these often sit alongside more controls of content of curriculum - for example around SRE/equality and diversity etc
04.08.2025 15:35 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0Switch your phone off and disable roaming/data while you're crossing borders and try to only use your data when you're hooked into wi-fi.
04.08.2025 15:24 โ ๐ 2 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0They're heading right up your street if this nationalistic far right wing of the government get their way, sadly. They won't meddle in universities/entrance requirements, but school curriculum is likely to be narrowed. Though PR does help with moderating some of the extremes.
04.08.2025 15:16 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0It's pretty norm here - teacher assessed high school certificate and universities will offer almost all who want it a place. Not unusual for a student to spend 5 years getting their degree here. But then it costs just a few hundred euros a year. Most of the population is trilingual too.
04.08.2025 15:00 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0I'm sure it could have been improved without going down the high stakes, soul destroying route of England.
04.08.2025 14:43 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0I'm cautious about claims around declining standards when there are clear concerns about the tests we judge that on. PIRLS has been criticised for cultural and linguistic bias and the OECD issues caveats about its own PISA tests - especially post covid.
04.08.2025 13:35 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0And so why question their right to raise it as an issue?
