Ahead of next week's Budget, the Green Party is calling for immediate cost of living measures to cut bills by hundreds of pounds, and for fair taxes on extreme wealth to raise over £30 billion a year.

We wish we didn’t have to keep saying it. The oil from Rosebank could give rise to 200 million tonnes of extra CO2 emissions and it doesn’t mean lower energy bills for UK households.

I joined other @bristolgreenparty.bsky.social councillors to stand with counter protestors and monitor the protest.

Bristol saw another anti-migrant protest yesterday, shamefully outside a hotel sheltering asylum seekers, including young children. But again counter protestors far outnumbered the far right, showing love & support for this vulnerable group. Hatred & racism will never win in our fair city.

We joined marches and rallies across the country in solidarity with indigenous peoples and all those at COP30 who are demanding climate action and fair finance for adaptation.

The UK *helped design* this 'TFFF' fund, designed to stop deforestation, and supposedly 'continues to back the fund' (in theory). But now isn't putting any money into it 🤯
