I think every reporter should show up wearing baseball caps at presidential news conferences. They could be good-natured ones, like “I Love New York” or “Is He Dead Yet?” Since they get barked at for every question Herr Trimp doesn’t like, they might as well have some fun on the job.

An honest question here. Why, given the fact that Iran already tipped off the US that it would retaliate, would Trimp mock Tehran for its “very weak” retaliation? If Iran were planning to do damage, it wouldn’t inform the US in advance. But we know Iran had to do something. So why the taunting?

I am never in favor of war and fear for American casualties, but I have to say I have more confidence knowing that Pete Hegseth, Johnnie Walker and Jim Beam are running the Pentagon.

I ordinarily wouldn’t have had a rooting interest between Indiana and OKC in tonight’s NBA Game 7. This, however, helped me decide.
