Ooh, bienvenue, Daniel ! Portland born and raised here. One of my favorite things to do is walk/bike along the waterfront (start around the Steel Bridge and Japanese American Historical Plaza) and do a loop down to OMSI and back over the Hawthorne to city. Great views, very pedestrian friendly.

Hugely agree on this. For an airport that has light rail at its front door, transit times and connections are awful at many points in the day and in many parts of the city. I live 10 miles away. Public transit at this moment, 10:17 PM, would take 2 hours and 3 minutes.

Always an honor to witness the Rwandan Community of Oregon’s commemoration of the 1994 genocide and see Emmanuel Turaturanye speak. This year was the 31st Kwibuka. I was only able to attend briefly due to Amélie’s nap schedule, but it was so powerful.

When I got in, right around kickoff, I went to 3-4 entrances and they were all out. Given announced attendance of 17,700+, little wonder!

I do realize we now have a four game road trip ahead of us and that there are going to be lots more challenges thrown our way. But given where expectations were at the start of the season (basically none!), this is quite the enjoyable surprise. #BAONPDX

We moved to third in the table, beating a team that barely lost at all last year (except to us!) and won the league championship. We did it without Caiya Hanks, with a defender scoring a goal from long range, pinpoint quick passing, and smothering defense / midfield play. What a joy it was. #BAONPDX
