What is Trump going to sell to the country in the State of the Union on Tuesday? Tariffs, ICE, and a slower economy?
Let's look at some data. First, the tariffs are wildly unpopular. 1/
Stop saying Trump wants to "nationalize elections."
What he said was: "We should take over the voting, the voting in at least many—15 places. The Republicans ought to nationalize the voting.”
"Take over the voting" and "nationalizing voting" is very different from the more sanitized language.
Be aware of which political party wants the American people to vote and will protect our collective right to do so…and which political party wants to restrict that right so that they may remain in power indefinitely.
The difference could not be clearer than at the present moment.
