The Streamline dub of Cagliostro was the first Lupin III media I ever watched, so this movie getting a new dub with the current English cast is very exciting news.

Well I've got news to share about the outage

It has actually been 17 days since the Internet went out, and the problem's still NOT fixed. It's like I'm trapped in a time loop or something, and best I can do is use mobile data to keep tabs on things in the meantime.

I have absolutely no idea when I'll be online again, because the ISP keeps changing the goal post for when it will be fixed by. It's utterly ridiculous that it's taking this long for the problem to be addressed, and I have to use mobile data to post this. As you can tell, I am very annoyed.

Seriously! After the 2nd to last encounter, there's a really easy minigame for the final boss, and then it just cuts to the credits! It was doing so good, and then it fumbled at the finish line!

38. Sea of Stars
This was a really good RPG. The combat is a great take on Super Mario RPG gameplay, and there was a nice, gripping narrative to keep me playing, even when my internet came back on...which is why it's frustrating that it has the most anti-climatic ending I've seen in a game!

Sonic Origins Plus is down to £13.99

Sonic Origins isn't great, until you add the Ultrafix mod - and then it's IMO the definitive way to play Classic Sonic games today.

Yeah that feeling hasn't changed much with the official upload of "Cross the Worlds". It's a shame that the lyrics bring it down, because it otherwise sounds fine.
If there's any Sonic song I wish had an instrumentation version at this point, it would probably be that.

The Captain was going to be a playable character? No wonder the ending cutscene showed the side cast doing stuff I didn't see mentioned in the dialogue scenes.

37. Haste
I like the core gameplay in this, but the lacking level variety really holds this game back from going any further than decent in my opinion. Also for being a Roguelite, it was strangely quite common for me to run across the best perks in the game during the 10 main shards.

36. Magical Tetris Challenge (N64)
Seems like the second half of month has been me clearing licensed games I used to struggle with many years ago. Not much else to say for this game, this is just a fun versus take on Tetris with a really good soundtrack.

I only noticed yesterday that the cover for Simpsons Hit & Run has blue shirt Bart on it. I have no idea if blue shirt Bart was still a thing for Simpsons merch in the early 2000s, but it is pretty funny considering Bart wears his red shirt in the game.

35. The Simpsons: Hit & Run
Similar story to the last two logs where I never finished it as a kid, and I went back to play it while my internet was down. This was an enjoyable vehicle sandbox, and I can see why people often call it (and the arcade game) the best Simpsons video game.

34. Shrek
I vaguely remember seeing bits of it as a kid, but I never properly watched the whole film until my internet went out last Sunday. Glad I did though, because this was a solid film that got a few chuckles out of me.
I should give the sequel a watch, because I’ve heard it’s even better.

I have a bad feeling all the crossover characters are going to be silent in this because I noticed Ichiban, Miku and Joker also didn't talk during the gameplay clips of the last trailer.

I found out last night there's now a Phillips CD-i core on the MiSTer. How could I not try out a CD-i thing without playing one of the greatest in Koridai: Hotel Mario?
It surprisingly works really well considering Hotel Mario has freezing problems during the point tally screen on MAME.

Okay one more unrelated clip, because I seem to have a bad case of running across odd bugs lately. Not sure if this is a problem with the Switch re-release I was playing, but at least the bugs were funny to see.

If there's any recommendation I could give for this game, it would be to make use of the infinite money trick, so you can get access to a shop that has the best upgrades early. The game becomes a lot more enjoyable with maxed out stats.
The second to last final boss is still a cheap bum though.

33. Scott Pilgrim vs The World: The Game (Switch)
I can see why I could never beat this game as a kid. There is a fun arcade beat 'em up to be had here, but the RPG stats and the grinding needed to get the stat upgrades normally, practically killed the game's pacing for me.
