It's interesting to see that what I thought would qualify as "stunning" for Stunday, did not reach 40 likes - sometimes, I doubt my ability 1/to assess the quality of my photos 2/to share with the widest audience my photos. Oh well...

First morning light on the famous cherry tree in the vineyards. Taken two weeks ago on my photo tour in South Moravia.

I've posted similar images for #Stunday. I stood in knee deep water with a couple friends and opened the shutter many times for somewhere between 15 and 30 seconds hoping to catch oak leaves doing their fall dance on the water. #photography #landscape #EastCoastKin #oaktrees #trees #longexposure

Au centre de l’étang enveloppé de brume, une petite île se détache avec une netteté surprenante. Ses arbres aux couleurs d’automne — jaunes, roux, brun doré — se mirent dans l’eau calme, tandis que les nuages, eux aussi, se reflètent et se mêlent aux contours de l’île. L’atmosphère est douce, suspendue, presque irréelle : un îlot de clarté au cœur du voile matinal.

Alignements de peupliers dénudés se dressent comme des silhouettes effilées dans le paysage. La brume se lève doucement au ras du sol, voilant les troncs les plus lointains. Au-dessus, un ciel bleu s’éclaire du soleil levant sur la droite, tandis qu’au fond, le panache de la centrale nucléaire de Nogent-sur-Seine s’élève dans l’air froid du matin.
