We used to believe the US didn't care about human rights, its war crimes abroad, or for the environmental and political destruction it brought overseas. Then, your school massacres started, street executions, mass imprisonment and total disregard for lives inside the US. It is horrifying.

Trump didn't fuck up the US, he took over something that was already broken & abused. Nothing in that country is normal or has been normal in a very long time. Which from the outside, it is horrifying to see a country so powerful and subjugated, so involved in our lives and apathetic to them too.

Tyranny always feels normal, you live each day as you always have, enjoying your life, day in and day out nothing changes until one day something small happens, something inconvenient something that seems unfair and it makes you uneasy.. then that feeling grows and grows until it suffocates you.
