I spent part of my afternoon sitting in my rocking chair on the front porch crocheting. Did I turn 41 today or 81? Don't even care, really, because it was just so dang nice!

Well, I know what tonight's bedtime reading is gonna be and also that I'm never gonna fall asleep.

How many humans did it take to trim my mom's formerly feral cat's nails today? Only three armed with towels, thick leather gloves used as a shield against the teeth, and nail trimmers. Miraculously everyone emerged unscathed and the cat has resumed her occupation of my mom's lap for snuggles!

I was literally in the commercials following that exact program when I saw your post. 🤣
