Since DEF CON 28, DCGVR has broken barriers for hackers unable to attend in person by offering a virtual space to socialize, present, and join panels recreating the DEF CON vibe. VR tech fosters inclusivity and global collaboration in the hacker community.
For now, we’re pressing pause to rest, re-think, and give folks space to focus on life and new projects. This isn’t a goodbye forever, more like a “see you when it’s time for the next evolution”…

This community has gone from a tiny idea to a place where we’ve shared talks, hacks, late-night chats, and a whole lot of VR-fueled chaos. Thank you to everyone who showed up and supported us.
