I just watched the referee having a seizure in OVW, and its fucking horrible. These idiots just wrestle around him, and then as he's stiff and shaking, one of the clowns just drags him out the way. One of the worst things I've seen in wrestling, and that is saying something.
Same energy with the Terrifier crowd. Some fans actively hunt down people who say they don’t like it just to drag them in front of their hive-mind audience. They think money and popularity make them immune to criticism. Trends pass. Gimmicks expire. Stop performing loyalty for the clique.
And let’s be real about INK’s whole gimmick: they coast by leeching off things that were already popular, classic horror movies, familiar IP, nostalgia bait. Strip that away and the music sounds like edgy “metal” written for 12-year-olds who just discovered horror.
ICE NINE KILLS fans might be one of the most fragile cliques in modern horror fandom. The second someone criticizes the band, the swarm shows up, quote posting, piling on, trying to publicly humiliate anyone who doesn’t worship the gimmick. Popular for the moment, so they think they’re untouchable.
The original had style, personality, and a Freddy who actually owned the screen. The remake replaced all of it with gray and brown sludge, wooden acting, and scares that equate to non-existent. If that’s the version you defend, maybe stop being a self absorbed mouth piece for franchise's fandom.
There are people out who actually defend the NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET remake. The dull, gray, absolute slog that turned Freddy into a lifeless creep and drained every ounce of fun, style, and terror from the original. Defending that cinematic corpse isn’t taste, your standards are just buried.

If someone were to ask me what I would put in my top 10 4K UHD releases, I will always mention this set from 2022. Turbine did an amazing release, packed with special features and goodies. One of my favorite films got the treatment it deserved.
