some.. problems;; iirc buns like these were consistently worn
from childhood to adulthood and were very heavy bc of the hair length so as they got older hairlines uh.. suffered. comparing pics from this era to 1910s u can def see the difference since later hairstyles were more relaxed;;;

Im sad that there isn't any too 💔 there's some growing consciousness of making more historically accurate filipiniana but like people don't pay attention to the hair???😭 i wish more would take note of it bc it is quite pretty 😔 and yeah! actually they had too much that the hairstyle caused women-

this malay woman’s bun is styled is also similar to tipo del pais illustrations. i’ve read that hair accessories filipino women use to wear had a trembling effect, honestly not too dissimilar with ID and MY accessories ive seen (again, more reason to bring it back why did we stop wearing this 😭😭)
