Govt Compiles Proposal on Laws for ‘Active Cyber Defense’; Analysis of Communications Between Japan, Overseas Featured
<p>The government compiled a proposal on Friday for the establishment of legal systems focusing on the prevention of major cyberattacks.</p>
The 29 Nov release of recommendations for the use of so-called active cyber defence (ACD) measures calls for the police and the SDF to "penetrate and neutralize" enemy servers after a massive cyber attack. The measures are so timid and complicated that I am doubtful they can be effective at all.
