Everything Everywhere All At Once was I think my first movie in the theater after COVID. Big sold-out theater at the Boston Common AMC (right on the edge of Chinatown). A+ cinematic experience.

Saw The Matrix opening week, completely cold, with a group of college friends… my roommate fell asleep about 10 minutes in and tried to get me to catch her up when she woke up 45 minutes later (in her defense she was student teaching and had to wake up like 4 hours earlier than the rest of us).

I love having chorus rehearsal on Tuesdays, makes election nights way less stressful. Except for last year when we switched to a new rehearsal space at an elementary school and they didn’t tell us that the room we rehearse in was a polling place and we had to move the rehearsal at the last minute.

CapitalOne lets you do it on the website but the interface is terrible - can't just select someone you've sent $ to before (as on the phone app), you have to type in their phone number or email, and there's no second identifier to confirm. Awful, awful UX.

Similarly furious about the Altra Timp 5 (a foot shaped torture chamber) vs the Timps 3 and 4 (the only trail shoes that haven’t given me Achilles tendinitis and knee problems since I turned 40). We need some kind of “orphan sneaker” program!

Well I guess that could have been worse. Although I think it took me less time to get my original license including written and road test.

I actually managed to get an appointment (for today) at an RMV within 10 miles of my home, so that was a win (again - I don't need a RealID, I just need a new photo for my license). Now I am waiting! I have spent a fair amount of time in this RMV before but today is next level.

I thought that I didn't need to worry about RealID, because I already have a passport, passport card, and Global Entry card. What I forgot was: my regular old drivers license expires this month.

Bought a big jar of powdered peanut butter and I am really in "hammer looking for a nail" mode now. Most recent invention: pean-oat milk cafe latte (it's not bad but you gotta either drink it fast or stir it constantly).
