One of my favorite moments over a week in Cรดte dโAzur ๐ซ๐ท was discovering Jaume Plensaโs large โLe Nomadeโ airy #sculpture in #Antibes, looking out into the sea, set on a restored waterfront fort. Such a perfect match, modern yet lacy and poetic ๐ค๐ฉต #France #art #traveladdicts
If you've ever imagined what it would be like to stay in a temple, in rural Japan, hereโs my account๐ฏ๐ต

Sounds great, noted. And yes, Iโm convinced it is, Iโll let you know if I make it out there soon ๐
This looks very tempting ๐ hoping to get to Seoul sooner rather than later (this year๐ค)
Team Paris so far ๐ even though London is the first ever foreign city I visited abroad as a child.
Oh love this, bookmarking for when I make it there ๐ ๐ซ
If you have your #travel radar set for #Romania ๐ท๐ด in 2025 (on Nat Geo and Vogue's must-travel lists this year), my first-timer's guide for Lonely Planet may be of help. Read on for some epic hiking, bird-watching and incredible wine suggestions โฐ๏ธ๐ท #Transylvania

Exactly, very striking! Loved the red, really enhanced the whole contemporary look ๐
Got it, just added them to an additional linking post โบ๏ธ๐๐ป hope it helps!
Some more highlights of Edvard Munchโs work at the #Munch Museum in #Oslo.
Back in #Oslo ๐ณ๐ด for my first trip of 2025, where I loved getting an update on the city since I last visited in 2016. Fab new #Munch Museum location, with multiple stories of Edvard Munchโs work (including 3 versions of his famed โThe Screamโ) and the best twilight view of the Oslo Opera #Norway #art
Traveling this week? Airports will be chaotic, but donโt let the rush steal your humanity. Remember, a smile at the gate agent, a kind word to the flight attendant, and a little patience at security can turn a stressful day into a smoother one for everyone.

Christmas time in #Zagreb ๐ญ๐ท is nothing short of magical, have you been?๐๐งโ๐ The whole city is decked with dreamy #Christmas markets (squares, parks, tunnels), one more enticing and lively than the other โ๏ธโฒ๏ธ It really is the best time of the year to visit ๐ #AdventZagreb #TravelAddicts #Croatia
Love both those cafes you mentioned.
Yes, truly. Such a soft breeze when itโs sunny too, perfect weather and nicely decked out.
Iโm sure, very hot though then.
Happy to report #Athens in December is a sunny 18ยฐC and delightfully buzzing โ๏ธ #Greece #traveladdicts
A few weeks ago, Lonely Planet asked me to sketch out a list of Czech towns and cities that would appeal to first time visitors. If you were thinking of going, this is a good place to start: www.lonelyplanet.com/articles/bes...
Will do, would love that ๐ค
I was there a month ago, and while the interior of the castle was closed on that particular day trip, the area is stunning, loved Oban, and saw the Downton Abbey location they filmed a Christmas special in. And much more ๐๐ป
The oldest cafรฉ in Europe is Le Procope in Paris, followed by the Zum Kaffeebaum in Leipzig - Germany's only city with traditional coffee houses.
Want hear more #CoffeeCulture stories or #VisitLeipzig? #TravelAddicts #TravelSky
Had in plan to do a Reel on Le Procope in Paris since a while, had an extended family lunch there for Easter this year, was so lovely โบ๏ธ Great insight into Leipzig and its coffee culture โ๏ธ, havenโt yet made it there.
Thatโs too bad, we had the best weather, was even too warm with my jacket. Oh yes about the pastry, BEST EVER ๐ซ had few, the best I tried was in Polignano a Mare, so divine and light, creamy but not too sweet. And yes, the famed Lucanian bread in Matera is known for its extraterrestrial shapes ๐
I can imagine! ๐คฉ I caught it during the holiday season and not only was it a sunny #blueskies day, but also a lovely atmosphere with the Christmas market. And took a quirky-shaped local bread ๐ back โhomeโ where we were staying, in Bari (close by in Puglia).
One year ago in #Matera, #Italy ๐๐ฎ๐น a UNESCO site for its Sassi di Matera, ancient cave dwellings carved into rock ๐ชจ A ๐
ride away from Puglia.
I love off-season #travel, especially in Southern Europe where winters are mild โ๏ธ Less crowds, better prices & a more relaxed experience.

Yes, no one expected this! And shows how easily groups of people can be swayed with a vote if you use different & unmonitored mediums, speak to them as they wish to be spoken to, but donโt say much of substance in the end. Lots of visual fluff and metaphors.
Youโre not the only one. Very dangerous way to pop-up and rise so quickly out of the woodwork, he wasnโt even the one people were fearing ๐ even the other guy now seems moderate in comparison.
Like a cataclysm out of nowhere ๐คฏ, most people I know didnโt know much or anything about him (myself including), rose within a week or two, very scary (btw, Iโm not on TikTok). I hope those quickly โalluredโ by him, angry w/ condescending old parties, truly get informed on him & what he stands for ๐ซ
The most important thing in writing is to finish. A finished thing can be fixed. A finished thing can be published. A finished thing can be made into a movie.
An unfinished thing is just a dream. And dreams fade if you don't hold on tight enough.
So finish the thing.
