The success of any opposition rests on the opposing party taking power. Next time you want to attack a Democrat for being too much of this or too little of that, realize that you are only helping the GOP. Instead, find a Democrat you support and volunteer for their campaign.

I realized today that Trump, Musk, DOGE, Vance, Miller, Vought and their many collaborators have broken so many laws already that they know they have to destroy our government and entire way of life to stay out of jail. This is all or nothing. We should respond accordingly.

Elon Musk has barged into DOL, which also oversees the Bureau of Labor Statistics—that's a huge deal. He could manipulate quarterly job numbers and much more. We are talking about MARKET MOVING INFORMATION! Do employers want Musk to have access to any of their confidential data?

20. There is cause for optimism though. If their ideas were popular, they wouldn't oppose the democratic system. If they thought they could constitutionally change the laws through Congress (noting that Rs control both chambers) they would.

17. It SHOULD be partisan to haggle over the law and Congressional funding. But we cannot allow it to become partisan to defend our democracy. The great fear and risk of this moment is that large tranches of the GOP have decided that our Constitutional Republic isn't worth preserving.
