I know I haven't posted in a while, but I'm getting a post ready to share a bit later on my new tutorial video out today, and I'm like - this seems so pointless, you know? How can I post these things I have to post (updates on my content and teaching, etc) while so much of the world is on fire?

I thought I would share: Kim of Oakwood Knits sent me a copy of her sock booklet that is now available! It was lots of fun tech editing these sock patterns. If you like a certain farm game, or love knitting colorwork socks, these are so much fun!

I've only had a chance to sift through about half of our photos, but here are some of my favorites from the first half of our trip to Iceland!

We got to it about 5:30pm or so, and there was no one else there - the shop was closed, and it was so quiet. We had it to ourselves for a good 20 minutes -- and it was our last waterfall of the day, so that made it even more magical!

We had such an amazing week in Iceland! I promise to share some more photos soon, but here is one of us in front of Faxafoss (one of our favorite waterfalls of the trip!)

I finally got to some yarn shops! Katla Wool center in Vik, and bought some Fjallalopi and a book, and Woolmarket in Hella, and bought some more yarn, lol.
